Ollee skate tracker

ollee

The Ollee Skate Tracker records your tricks in an app. You can see how your session went.

My first impression of the Ollee skate tracker was that the package was nice. It had all the pieces you need to use the device.

When I installed the tracker on my skateboard I went to pair it with my phone. I found out that you need the power cord to do this. I didn't have the cord so I skated anyway. The tracker is so light that you don't even notice it on the skateboard. I did slides, grinds and flip tricks without knowing it was there.

I will pair it with my phone before the next session.

Pairing the Device

Make sure you have the cord and it is plugged into the device and the wall. The charging light goes on. Open the Ollee.app on your phone. Follow the steps for pairing. When the device is detected wait for the time to run. Then the coolest thing happens. The tracker plays I'm a Superman by Goldfinger right out of Tony Hawks Pro Skater. This it is ready to skate.

Skateboarding with Ollee Skate Tracker

It is fun to skate with the device. It beeps when you are riding it.

These are screen shots of the actual app after my first session. Here's a look at the session I had:

olleeshotI
olleeshotII

I skated for 33:41 and did 66 tricks. I did 98 kick pushes. That seems pretty accurate. The other stats don't match exactly with my memory of the session. The only thing I think was off is the count for the tail pop and nose pop. I did very few nollie tricks. I did do many fakie tricks. Maybe it is counting those as nose pope.

Review of Ollee Skate Tracker

After one use I would say that this is a really cool device for skateboarding and looking at you trick. It keeps a live tab of what you are doing and that is fun. I look forward to doing more skating with it to see how I average over many sessions.

I also look forward to seeing how this device will be developed as this is the first generation and it is already a great product.

One thing I would change is that I would turn of the beeping while you are skating. It is distracting and left the other skaters at the park a little confused. Not a big deal.

I can't wait to do more skates with the Ollee Skate Tracker.
